When Tom first started painting Bristol almost 20 years ago, the Star&Garter was a
favourite motif and a painting of this iconic pub exists in art collections far and wide.
“ I always loved the Star&Garter both as a pub and a subject to paint. Surely one of the
most charismatic buildings in Bristol. What particularly drew me to this angle was the
